Kenilworth Estate makes beautiful wiry black teas using young tea shoots that have been picked from the garden’s own bushes, as well as those grown by around 250 farmers who work small plots of land nearby. The estate dates back to the 1880s and lies near Sri Lanka’s Nuwara Eliya district; an area often known as Little England because of the English-style cricket club, golf club, red post boxes and gardens filled with colourful roses, snap dragons, daisies and buttercups.
